More about the camps and daily schedule
In all camps, all members are encouraged to learn and be motivated to learn life skills such as respect, self-confidence, and anti-bully awareness.
The kids alternate between games and activities on the mat and restful activities like art, crafts, etc. Lunch starts around 11:30 or noon followed with rest during a ‘quiet’ time. Some kids take a nap, read a book, or just sit to rest a bit. Other activities MAY include water balloons in the park, Outdoor Ninja Challenges, Austin Park and Pizza, and others (such activities are finalized after the camp registration deadlines are complete). Cost of extra activities is not included. The schedule allows the counselors to adjust times that is best suited for the group of kids attending.
Ultimate Ninja camp has to do with learning some martial arts moves and putting moves together to create their own combinations. There will be adventurous games, obstacle courses, and fun and safe martial arts action. The games are centered around building strategies and how to be a leader in mind and body.
Tricking Camp includes a mix of fun acrobatics, martial arts, and high energy drills and games to help develop strength and agility through the use of friendly group competition.
Weapons Camp is a very safe, fun, and exciting martial arts training which includes adventurous games, and the use of safe weapons such as Kamas, Escrimas, and/or Bo staff. The games develop coordination, motor skills, and fundamentals of movement. The types of weapons used is dependent on the mix of kids attending.
